Questions people ask
Do our people need to install anything?+
No. They send Hi to your Ownimo WhatsApp number and tap the link. They can add Ownimo to their home screen so it opens like an app.
Who can get in?+
Only people on your people list. An admin uploads the list (name and cell number) from a Google Sheet. Anyone else is turned away.
Does it work in Afrikaans?+
Voice notes and messages in Afrikaans, English or a mix are understood. The app itself is in English for now.
What do we need on our side?+
A WhatsApp Business number for your organisation (we help you set it up) and someone to load the people list. Google sign-in is optional.
How does a pilot work?+
Three months, free, with one or two teams such as maintenance and IT. We set it up with you. If you continue, everything carries over.
How do we pay?+
By invoice and EFT, monthly or per year. The yearly price is two months free, which fits an annual budget approved by your board.
What happens to our data?+
It belongs to you. Reports export to CSV for Google Sheets, private tasks are encrypted, and closed work is kept for two years.
